Student Resources
The Indiana GEAR UP program helps provide students with resources to succeed academically and prepare for college and careers. Below are some links to some useful resources.
BRIDGE TO COLLEGE PROGRAM
Bridge the gap between high school and college by visiting a college campus in-person for an in-depth look at college life. This exciting experience will allow you to interact with college professors/staff, connect with and learn from current college students, and have fun participating in engaging activities and making lasting friendships along the way. The coronavirus pandemic has demonstrated that possessing a degree or quality credential is more important than ever, and the Indiana GEAR UP Bridge to College Program will accelerate your path toward success!
For 2022, we are offering one-day programs throughout the school year, as well as, extended overnight programs during the summer.
ONE DAY PROGRAMS
We are so excited to be able to partner with 14 colleges and universities for one-day programs during the spring of 2022. These programs allow students to visit college campuses and gain valuable information for planning their future. These visits will expose students to information on financial aid, scholarships, college admissions processes, student life, on-campus academic support, and other vital areas.
Details of these programs are available in the chart below. Please take note of the information listed here:
Most programs take place during the school day. Efforts are being made to arrange transportation with the high schools. Transportation details will be provided as the event dates near and arrangements are solidified.
Flyers with program details and registration links will be added to the chart below as the program dates get closer. Please check back frequently for updated information.
The Covid pandemic continues to affect the availibility of in-person activities. Please note that program dates could change due to restrictions for in-person activities with the high schools and/or college/university partners. If you are interested in a program, please register and any changes to dates will be communicated to those registered.
Please contact Jean Trusedell at jtrusede@purdue.edu with any questions.
