COLLEGE TOURS 2024

Bridge the gap between high school and college by visiting a college campus in-person for an in-depth look at college life. This exciting experience will allow you to interact with college professors/staff, connect with and learn from current college students, and have fun participating in engaging activities and making lasting friendships along the way. The coronavirus pandemic has demonstrated that possessing a degree or quality credential is more important than ever, and the Indiana GEAR UP College Tour 2024 will accelerate your path toward success!

These 2 tours (1 HBCU & 1 Indiana) are available to students in grades 10-12 from Arsenal Tech, Crawford County, Charlestown, Jeffersonville, Kokomo, Lafayette Jeff, Maconaquah, Muncie Central, PPHS-Englewood, and West Side Leadership Academy:

To be eligible for the trip, students must have completed the interest form. We are in the process of verifying student status with the schools then will start calling parents/guardians of the students who completed the interest form to verify interest and give an overview of the trip.

The March tour phone calls are completed.

The April tour phone calls are completed.

After phone calls are made, there will be an online registration that parents/guardians will need to complete in order to secure a spot for their student. This registration will have the consent forms and trip expectations and the link to register will be sent to the parent/guardian email address with the student copied.

***Please note: the email with registration link will only be sent to those students who we have verified with the parent/guardian that they want their student to attend. If you were not able to answer the phone call, please email indianagearup@purdue.edu to let us know if you want your student to attend the trip so you will get the email with registration link.

The March tour registration email was sent out on 2/18/24 and registration link goes live Tuesday, 2/20/24 at 7:00pm Eastern. Registration closes 2/26/24 at 8:00am Eastern.

The April tour registration email was sent out on 2/25/24 and registration link goes live Tuesday, 2/27/24 at 7:00pm Eastern. Registration closes 3/4/24 at 8:00am Eastern.
